Manning Park / Lake Reflection Mirror Poster / British Columbia Canada / Green
Which way is up? It's hard to tell, but what does it matter, really? I got up extra-early in the morning in order to capture this picture. It was somewhere around 5 AM in the spring or summer. Maybe even earlier. All the other humans were asleep. It was only me, waking up early in order to take a photograph or two.
This photo was taken in the beautiful Manning Park area of Beautiful British Columbia in Canada, on Lightning Lake. Apparently there are 3 Lightning Lakes right there, but most normally-motivated people (such as me) can only really access the first one. That's fine with me, as I was able to capture so many beautiful snaps here, many of them before all of the other humans had waken up and started causing ripples in the water.
I'm not sure why reflection photography is so stunning to us humans. Maybe it boggles our mind that half of what we are seeing, really just ain't real at all. But our eyes are still seeing it. So our brain is like, Wait What!? And That's cool! We like to trip out lol
What I can't get over is how different this scene looks at this moment compared to a rainy day. Is this even the same planet?
Anyway, this would make a perfect gift for anyone who enjoys this green, reflective nature photography. Or, maybe that person is you! I'm sure this would look amazing on any wall.
